Japan Cracks Down on Illegal Gambling Ring Operating Payment System for Overseas Casinos
Japanese authorities have arrested nine people for running a payment system that facilitated illegal online gambling from within Japan. The network allegedly processed 340 billion yen in wagers to overseas casinos between January and April 2025.
