Thailand plans domestic tourism subsidy and foreign visitor fee to boost sector recovery
Thailand is introducing a domestic tourism subsidy programme worth 1.75 billion baht in September, alongside a proposed fee on foreign visitors to finance tourism site development, visitor protection, and environmental restoration across the kingdom.
