Penang Sets Final Deadline for Jelutong Landfill Project as EIA Approval Stalls
Penang's Chief Minister has issued an ultimatum to the concession company managing the RM1 billion Jelutong landfill rehabilitation project, warning that without Environmental Impact Assessment approval by a set deadline, the state will withdraw support and explore alternative contractors.
