Luang Namtha declared disaster zone as monsoon floods surge across northern Laos
Luang Namtha province in northern Laos has been officially declared a disaster zone following severe flash flooding that inundated over 30 villages, critical infrastructure and a special economic zone near the Boten border crossing with China.
