Malaysia Halts UNHCR Refugee Registrations, Plans New Government-Led System
Malaysia has instructed the UNHCR to temporarily stop processing refugee registrations while the government establishes a new Refugee Registration Document (DPP) programme for tighter national oversight and data management.
