Sungai Klang Flood Defence Upgraded as Capacity Surges to 22 Per Cent
A major dredging and riverbank improvement project along Sungai Klang has boosted the river's capacity to 22 per cent from less than five per cent, significantly reducing flood risks in critical Selangor areas. The work is 68 per cent complete and expected to finish by end-2025.
